Printable bridges puzzles
Pick a grid and a difficulty, and print a page or a whole booklet of bridges puzzles with answers.
Bigger grids have more islands and more to work out.
Every bridge can be worked out step by step, with no guessing.
1 puzzle, all different.
Bridges
Join the circles with straight lines, across or down, so each circle touches as many lines as its number. Use one or two lines between a pair, never cross another line, and link every circle into one group.
Join the islands, one bridge at a time
A bridges puzzle, also called Hashi, scatters numbered islands across a grid. You link them with straight bridges so each island has exactly as many as its number says, and the whole map ends up connected. It looks simple and rewards patient counting.
Every press of New puzzles gives a fresh set, and each one has a single answer. Start a child on the small 7 by 7 grid, where the numbers are mostly 1 and 2, or print a booklet of 13 by 13 Hard puzzles for a long afternoon. Six to a page works well for the smaller grids.
Everything happens in your browser and nothing is uploaded. Puzzles and colouring pair nicely as screen-free breaks, and our free colouring pages make a good treat once the last bridge is drawn.
